Practical philosophy
Welcome to Gerald Rochelle’s Practical Philosophy
Philosophy is all about asking questions—questions to which there is currently no agreed or understood answer. Philosophy is about argument—putting a point of view that raises doubts or questions about another. Philosophy is about the use of rationality. Philosophy is about reflection on the nature of things. Philosophy is about opening up to possibilities—about ‘doing’ something with the way we think about things, and this site is all about Doing philosophy in the broadest sense.
If you want to start doing philosophy outside this website try my book Doing Philosophy or use the test questions in the section Thinking about things.
If you would like a link to your own site on the links page or if you would like me to include your own personal biographical page please email.
