Focus: Thinking the World, the Word, and Objects

Exchanging the Word must work outside the format of simply one person and another. An essential ingredient of Exchanging the Word is clear and directed focus on another, but this focus can also be directed at objects. ‘Being with’ an object like this can produce a heightened level of clarity. When the object is seen in this way, we might say we are ‘Thinking the World’. And if we ‘Think the World’ it is the Word. That is where the word lies — in the thought-world. In this way, the Word appears as a distinct entity — it is not just reflective of the fabric of reality, but may be reality itself.
